In keeping with the environmental concerns for our planet, Telsar has adopted its own “green” Mission.

As a recognized leader in the medical, scientific and industrial laser industries, Telsar has chosen to lead rather than follow in the environmental concerns of our planet.

Telsar’s care, concern and responsibility it holds for its clients is also extended to its behavior towards the future of this earth and its future generations.  As shepherds for this cause, we have chosen to be flexible, responsive and cooperative with all who would embrace this method to produce a positive impact for future generations.

Towards those ends, Telsar will make certain that:

1. All new electronic components are RoHS compliant (No lead).
2. We use paperless reporting for service calls.
3. Service manuals will be provided on laptop or disc as available.
4. We will re-cycle electronic parts when applicable rather than buying new.
5. The thermostat will be turned up in summer and down in winter for fuel savings.
6. We will cut back heating or cooling at night when offices not occupied.
7. We will occupy existing buildings instead of building new.
8. We will re-cycle aluminum and copper from old lasers that are scrapped.
9. We will use remote diagnostics for smart systems to reduce on site visits.
10. Innovative use of technology for laser diagnostics to reduce travel to sites.
11.  We will recycle:
    • Paper
    • Packaging
12. We will employ high efficiency electrical devices:
    • Furnaces
    • Air conditioning
    • Refrigeration
    • Appliances
    • Office equipment
    • Lighting
13. We will limit printouts
14. We will use thermo windows
15. We will insulate for efficiency
16. We will maintain white roofing
17. We will be using recycled papers for our own scrap pads.
18. We will recycle obsolete lasers and other equipment as possible.
